Looking for a new metal roof that will last a lifetime?

This copper standing seam metal roof in Hanover County, Virgina is starting to show it's classic greenish-brown petina.

We believe a building is only as good as the roof that’s on it.  For that reason Fitzgerald's Standing Seam Metal Roofing specializes in creating the most traditional and strong double-crimped standing seam metal roofs for your historic home, barn -- or modern residence.

When installed and maintained properly, standing seam metal roofs have been known to last 100 years or more!!

We have our own roll forming equipment that allows us to make custom, full-length roofing pans in:   Copper ,    Galvanized Steel ,    Terne II ,   or pre-painted Galvalume , formed to fit your building right on the job site -- whether the project is new construction or a restoration.   We can form perfect roof-edge trim on site with our portable brake, and when necessary we can even hand-seam complex jobs and solder flashing joints for a permanent watertight bond.

Our lifelong study of homes and buildings has taught us that the first failure points of many structures that suffer water damage usually stem from problems with the gutters.  We install very traditional half round gutters and downspout systems in copper, galvanized steel, and aluminum to direct storm water safely away from your home or building. Any notable structural investment should be protected by a lightning suppression system. Click on the "Do I need Lightning Supression? " tab to the left to learn more.
